Kasumi means mist. The colour starts pale at the shoulders and deepens towards the hem, the way fog sits low over water. The tee itself is oversized with dropped shoulders, in a pre-washed 100% cotton, so it is soft from the first wear and the fade is slightly different on every piece.

Design

A plain tee with one change: the colour moves. Kasumi keeps the cut simple so the fade reads cleanly from shoulder to hem.

Description

An oversized tee where the colour does all the talking. Each piece is dip-dyed, so the tone runs from light at the top to deep at the hem, and because the dye is applied by dipping, no two fades are exactly the same.

The fabric is 100% cotton in a double yarn, pre-washed for softness. The fit is wide: chest 112cm at XS, shoulders dropped well past the natural line.

Green is the most striking fade. Black is the subtlest, almost a washed charcoal at the top. Beige is the softest and the easiest with light trousers.

How the fade is made

Each Kasumi tee is dip-dyed: the garment goes into the dye in stages, so the lower part takes the most colour and the top the least. The result is a gradient that is pale at the shoulders and deep at the hem. Because it is done by dipping, the line of the fade varies slightly from piece to piece.

Fabric and fit

100% cotton in a double yarn, pre-washed so it is already soft and has done most of its settling. The cut is oversized: 112cm chest at XS, dropped shoulders, short sleeves that fall towards the elbow.

Which size

The chart gives a height and weight range for each size, which is the quickest guide. The cut is meant to be loose; for a closer fit, take one size smaller.

Choosing a colour

Green shows the gradient most clearly. Black is the quietest, a washed charcoal fading to black. Beige is soft and warm and works best with light or neutral trousers.
