The embroidery
The blossom is stitched, not printed. Branches run across the shoulders with clusters of pink petals, front and back, so the design frames the top of the body rather than sitting as a patch on the chest. Dense embroidery has weight and a slight relief you can feel.
Fabric and fit
100% cotton in a medium thickness. Chest runs from 97cm on the smallest size, measured round, which is a straight, fairly regular fit rather than an oversized one. If you like a looser tee, go one size up.
Black or white
Black makes the pink blossom vivid and graphic. White is lighter and more seasonal, the blossom almost watercolour against it.
Wearing it
The embroidery is at the top, so keep collars and scarves out of the way. Plain trousers, wide or straight, and simple shoes.
