Materials & Care

Hand Wash or Use Delicate Cycle: To keep your Kunoji gear in top shape, handle it with care. Hand washing is best, but if you use a washing machine, choose the delicate cycle with cold water. For embroidered and printed items, turn them inside out to protect the designs.
Use Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh detergents, fabric softeners, and bleach, as they can damage the fabrics. Stick to mild detergent for gentle cleaning.
Air Dry: Skip the dryer after washing. Lay your Kunoji pieces flat or hang them to air dry. Keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Store Carefully: To maintain the shape, fold your Kunoji items neatly and store them in a drawer or on a hanger. Keep them away from direct sunlight and humidity.
Don't forget to Iron: Many Kunoji items, especially those made from cotton and linen, tend to wrinkle. Iron on the flip side using low heat. For embroidered and printed items, iron inside out with a cloth between the iron and fabric to protect the designs.

Iki is the Japanese word for a quiet kind of style: nothing loud, everything considered. This polo has one button and then stops. The collar sits soft and flat, the placket falls open into a deep V, and the knit does the rest. It is a sweater that wears like a shirt.

Description

A knit that keeps its shape

The Iki is knitted thick in a piqué stitch, a small honeycomb texture that gives the surface depth and makes the fabric tougher than a flat jersey. It holds its shape with long wear. The yarn is brushed to a soft, velvet-like hand, warm for autumn and comfortable against the skin.

One button, then open

The collar is knitted, soft and flat, with pointed turned-down points. Below it a narrow placket falls into a deep V, closed by one small domed button in a horn look and left open from there.

Who it is not for
