Do crinkle pants need ironing?

No. The crinkle is part of the cloth, so wash them, shake them out and hang them to dry.

Are they harem pants?

They have the roomy hip and thigh of a harem pant, but the leg falls wide and fairly straight to full length rather than gathering at the ankle.

With one button at the front of a flat waistband, and elastic at the sides and back. There are belt loops if you want a belt.

Are they good for travel?

Yes. The cloth is light, quick-dry and tear-resistant, and creases are already part of the look.

Materials & Care

Hand Wash or Use Delicate Cycle: To keep your Kunoji gear in top shape, handle it with care. Hand washing is best, but if you use a washing machine, choose the delicate cycle with cold water. For embroidered and printed items, turn them inside out to protect the designs.
Use Mild Detergent: Avoid harsh detergents, fabric softeners, and bleach, as they can damage the fabrics. Stick to mild detergent for gentle cleaning.
Air Dry: Skip the dryer after washing. Lay your Kunoji pieces flat or hang them to air dry. Keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Store Carefully: To maintain the shape, fold your Kunoji items neatly and store them in a drawer or on a hanger. Keep them away from direct sunlight and humidity.
Don't forget to Iron: Many Kunoji items, especially those made from cotton and linen, tend to wrinkle. Iron on the flip side using low heat. For embroidered and printed items, iron inside out with a cloth between the iron and fabric to protect the designs.

Design

Momi means crumpled. The crinkle is built into the cloth, so these trousers start creased and stay that way, with nothing to iron and nothing to ruin. A pleat at the front and a wide, easy leg give them the shape of tailoring with none of the upkeep.

The Momi is cut from a thin, light weave with a fine crinkle all over and a matte finish. It dries quickly, resists tearing and has a slight stretch. The creases are the point: nothing to iron, nothing to ruin.

Tailored front, easy back

A flat waistband closes with one button at the front and turns elastic at the sides and back. A soft pleat on each side gives the trousers their shape, and there are belt loops if you want them.
