Loose above, tapered below
The Yuru is cut wide through the hips and thighs, with a slightly dropped crotch, and narrows toward the ankle. The result is a trouser with plenty of room that still finishes at the shoe. The mid rise keeps the waist where a normal trouser would sit, so the extra volume is in the leg and not at the waist.
Because the leg tapers and the pant is full length, the cloth gathers a little above the ankle. That stack is part of the shape. A small vertical slit at the outer ankle lets the hem open slightly instead of gripping the leg.
The seams, and what they change
A horizontal piecing seam crosses the front of each thigh, and vertical seam lines run down the outer front leg. On a trouser this wide they stop the front from reading as one flat sheet. A stitched faux-fly with tonal topstitching runs down the center front. The maker lists a zip closure, and the waistband is hidden under the top in our photos.
Two side pockets sit at the hips, where a hand falls naturally on a loose cut.
Cloth and stretch
The fabric is matte and smooth with a soft handle. It is medium weight with medium stretch, and it drapes instead of holding a stiff shape. That makes it a spring-weight trouser. The listing does not describe a fleece-lined or summer-thin version, so this is neither of those.
Choosing a size
Sizes are M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL, 4XL and 5XL. We have not listed garment measurements for this pair yet, so we cannot give a waist, rise or inseam. The loose cut and the medium stretch widen the range each size covers. If you are between sizes, the looser cut is the reason to take the smaller one. If the fit is off, you have 14 days to return them. The return label is paid by the customer, and the refund goes to the original payment method.
Colors
- **White:** shows the seam lines and, on the pair photographed, the small black embroidered motif on the outer lower left calf.
- **Black and Navy:** the easiest to wear daily.
- **Brown, Khaki and Grey:** softer, earthier options for spring.
The embroidery is confirmed only on the white pair shown. The other colors are listed as solid colors.
Who they suit, and who they do not
They suit anyone who wants a relaxed, loose trouser that still ends cleanly at the ankle, and who wears it with a simple top and low shoes. They are not for anyone who wants a slim or straight-leg trouser, a clean uninterrupted ankle line, or a pair with published measurements to check before ordering.
Styling
Let the trousers carry the volume. A fitted or cropped tee, or a plain shirt, balances them. A second oversized layer on top will hide the taper that gives the pair its shape. Low shoes show the stacked ankle.
